This fun little oil painting, 10 x 8 was done after a group of 6 of us went on an 8 day self supported kayaking trip at Isla Espiritu Santo in Baja, Mexico last November. The painting was never exhibited as it was sold when the paint was barely dry.
I Decided to post it following a wonderful warm late winter day kayaking in and around Deception Pass, near Anacortes, WA. We spotted porpoise, western grebes, a sea otter, harbor seals, an Eagle with a fish in its talons, and the usual cormorants, great blue herons, and so on. We could not have asked for a better day.
